Why do we hate churches you ask?

Well, first of all, we don’t hate churches.  Churches are generally filled with a lot of nice people who are interested in God and want to do some good.

We’re tutoring at an international boarding school.  The students have repeatedly asked “so why are you here”?

Theories range from us being the new proctors (RAs), some sort of missionaries, new chaplains or new teachers to new custodians.

It’s a good question, one that I don’t really have a good answer for.  But I thought trying to answer it could help some of our newer readers too.

I think this is what our friend Kristin was wondering when she left a comment asking whether or not we had abandoned religion…

How do we eat?  With our mouths.

We criticize American culture a lot.  Cut the crap, do we hate America or what?
