Although our pursuit should always be to spread the love of Christ first, that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t strive for change.

As Christians it is our responsibility to recognize unjust social inequalities and work towards a better society.

When we do so, however, we must start with the people nearest us first. We can’t focus our attention on North Korea and forget about the injustice being done to our literal next-door neighbors.
